Chocolate Collagen Protein Bar

Yes, and the form matters as much as the dose. Marine collagen has a smaller peptide size than bovine collagen, meaning it's absorbed faster and more efficiently. It's predominantly Type I collagen, the same type found in human skin, hair, and nails, making it the most targeted choice for beauty nutrition. 5g daily, eaten consistently, is well within the range that research supports.

The only non-vegetarian ingredient is the Marine Collagen, which is fish-derived. Everything else, including the Vitamin D3 which comes from Veg Lichen, is vegetarian.

The bar tastes like a rich chocolate almond bar, with cocoa powder, peanut butter, and almonds doing all the flavour work. There is no fishy taste or aftertaste whatsoever. Marine collagen in peptide form is completely tasteless and odourless, so what you get is pure indulgence with hidden benefits.

Absolutely. If your existing supplement is a 5 to 10g daily dose, adding this bar gives you an additional 5g in a whole-food format with protein, fibre, and healthy fats alongside, which actually aids absorption.

Well, it’s much more than just a protein bar. It gives you 25% of your daily requirement of protein, fiber, calcium and vitamin D3. As a woman, it looks after your muscle strength, bone strength, metabolism & hormonal balance.

Source of oil is 100% Peanut Butter and it is part of the product design. We do not use any artificial emulsifiers and stabilizers to bind the oil. Our bars are made from wholesome ingredients and minimally processed, hence some free oil on the surface. Oil from Peanuts is heart healthy composed mostly of unsaturated fats and rich in fat soluble Vitamin E.

All flavours are vegetarian, except the Collagen bar which has a marine-sourced high-grade collagen.

4DU bars are perfect for a 4pm evening snack or a post-workout protein-heavy snack. Carry the minis when you travel. You can also eat a bar if you miss breakfast, although we never recommend this.

Most of the calories in our bars come from the high almond content – a source of good fats & dense nutrition. Depending on the flavour, the calories range from 217 to 230 per bar.

Technically, yes, and they may find it a more rounded nutrition profile than the other brands they eat right now. But 4DU’s science-backed nutrition profile has been designed keeping women’s bodies, hormonal cycles and unique metabolic needs in mind.
